Attractions at the Wharf
One of the most popular attractions that brings travelers to San Francisco is Fisherman’s Wharf. Holiday Boat Parade Provides Much Holiday Spirit
Now, toss a holiday boat parade into the mix, and Fisherman’s Wharf is the full package for visitors. The Holiday Lights & Sights Boat Parade of Fisherman’s Wharf is the largest boat parade on the San Francisco Bay, with more than 60 glamorous holiday boats included in the parade. It begins at the famous Pier 39, travels to Marina Green & then heads back to Pier 39. As you watch, you can explore the Wharf in all its holiday glory—plenty of kid’s activities: stop & see Santa, listen to the Dickens Carolers perform, and admire the beauty of the unique Christmas lights and decorations.
Pier 39, a popular stop at Fisherman’s Wharf, puts on a display of two fully decorated 60’ Christmas trees, along with shops & restaurants to satisfy any traveler’s appetite. Families, couples, or friends meeting for drinks will find much holiday cheer at Pier 39.
The Holiday Lights & Sights at Fisherman’s Wharf lasts until January 1, 2012 so be sure and make it out there by the end of the year! Find hotels in San Francisco through the links below:
